Zoo in Türkiye throws special party for twin lion cubs on World Lion Day

ANTALYA, TÜRKİYE - AUGUST 10: A zoo in the Antalya province of Türkiye threw a welcoming party for twin lion cubs on World Lion Day (August 10). The four-day old twins were born in the Berkem Lion Zoo and became the life and soul of the place for the visitors and employees. The zoo employees and veterinarians organized a special party with balloons and decorations, and cut a cake for the twin cubs. A veterinarian of the zoo, Beyza Done, said that the twin cubs have been very healthy and playing with each other since they are very little. She added that the name of the twins will be decided by a vote on social media. Located in the Manavgat district, the Berkem Lion Zoo has been home to many animal species, from tigers and bears to monkeys and sea lions.
