Sky News to be spun off from BskyB
VOICED: The government has approved a bid by Rupert Murdoch's News Corp to takeover BskyB, and create Britain's biggest commercial media organisation. As part of the deal, and to allay concerns over media domination, Sky News would be spun off into an independent public company. Rivals have dismissed the offer as a whitewash as Sky's Rachael Younger reports. Sky News to be spun off from BskyB on March 03, 2011 in England (Footage by Sky News/Getty Images)
