Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Mesa Near L.A. Fitness on Power Road - Aerial and Ground Level Footage

At approximately 6:50 p.m. today (March 24th), a fatal collision occurred on Power Road near McDowell Road in front of L.A. Fitness in Mesa. A motorcycle traveling northbound was struck by a full-size pickup truck. Mesa Fire & Medical upgraded the call to a 2-1 medical response. According to officials, Mesa Police administered chest compressions until Mesa Fire arrived, but the young male motorcyclist—reportedly in his 20s or younger—was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses reported the motorcycle was traveling at speeds exceeding 90 mph. Additional details have not yet been released.
