Marcy Kaptur compares GOP to Elmer Fudd on government funding
Ohio appropriator Marcy Kaptur says in debate on a four-week spending resolution that Republicans had not produced the budget for fiscal 2018, that decisions cannot be made without one, but Republicans hope government functions without a roadmap, asking if they are asleep behind the wheel and may hit a brick wall. Kaptur says Republicans fumbled every opportunity they had, referring to Elmer Fudd for inability to catch Bugs Bunny though it is right in front of their face, not making progress but rather losing ground.
