Yesterday Was Here and Went But Im here right now And thats all that matters When I am amongst mountains Another work of short poetry or prose to complement the image captured one afternoon in Banff National Park while taking in the setting at Morants Curve. The view is looking to the west as the Bow River flows by. My thought on composing this image was to angle my Nikon SLR camera slightly downward and create a sweeping view across this valley, leading up to the more distant mountains. I felt that bringing the peaks and ridges higher into the image would help to create more of a sense of grandeur with this setting. The rest was later making adjustments with control points in DxO PhotoLab 6 to bring out the contrast, saturation and brightness I wanted for the final image.
