Two Mongolian Wild Horses: One Mare, One Foal - stock photo
This world's only true wild horse is named after Russian explorer of East Asia, Nikołaj Przewalski. Besides Przewalski's Horse, also is it called "takhi" or "Dzungarian horse" or "Mongolian Wild Horse". Although this species have been reintroduced at several national parks in Mongolia, such as Hustai National Park where these were photographed, the status of Przewalski's horse is still endangered.
