This picture taken 19 October 2007 shows Anak Krakatau, literally Child of Krakatau volcano in the Sunda Straits that erupted in a gigantic explosion in 1883. Anak Krakatau, which rises out from the sea in the former caldera of Krakatau, lies in the Sunda strait between the islands of Java and Sumatra.
