The remains of the wife and daughter of Nathaniel Hawthorne were interred along side him in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery after a short funeral service on the steps of the First Parish Church in Concord MA.Driver Wayne Tucker adjusts his top hat as he prepares to drive the antique hearse to the church. The herse is followed by desendents of the Hawthorne family as well as members of the dominican order of nuns founded by Hawthorne's youngest daughter.
