(Original Caption) 7/25/1970-San Rafael, CA- Cesar Chavez, director of the United Farm Workers Organizing Committee, gives victory sign to over one thousand members of various Northern California unions who staged a peaceful march against the San Rafael independent-Journal in support of the Typographical Union which has been on strike against the Bay Area newspaper for six months. Chavez addressed the crowd during rally at Albert Park and called for a non-violent boycott of the paper.
