GENT, BELGIUM: Princess Mathilde of Belgium arrives to attend a Te Deum Mass at Sint-Baafs Cathedral in Gent, 21 July 2007, on the occasion of the Belgian National Day. Belgian King Albert II yesterday exhorted his country's increasingly divided Flemish and French-speaking communities to show greater unity on the eve of the national day. Around six million of Belgium's 10.5 million people live in the Dutch-speaking region of Flanders, with 3.5 million in French-speaking Wallonia and one million in largely francophone Brussels.
