National Trust Conservation cleaner Emily Blanshard dusts a William Morris tapestry at Standen in Sussex. All National Trust properties will open for the first time this millennium, on 01/04/2000, after being 'put to bed' in Autumn 1999. *The house was built in 1894 by architect Philip Webb, a close friend of Morris, and contains many Morris and Co antiques. The St Agnes tapestry (pictured) was produced by the Morris Company in 1887. (Photo by Chris Ison - PA Images/PA Images via Getty Images)
