(Original Caption) Nashua seems to be bowing to Mrs.William Woodward, wife of the horse's owner, in the winner's circle at Pimlico Race Track, after winning the $116,500 Preakness Stakes, May 28th. Because of the animal's nervousness, attendants were unable to drape it with the traditional blanket of black-eyed Susans, the state flower of Maryland. Jockey Eddie Arcaro rides Nashua.
