BAHARIYA, EGYPT: A mummified body belonging to the Egyptian-Roman era is seen uncovered at a graveyard in the Valley of the Golden Mummies in the Bahariya oasis, 375 kms (225 miles) west of Cairo, 12 December 2004. More than 234 the number of mummies so far unearthed in the area, as excavations were ongoing in and around the valley. Egyptian experts believe the valley contains over 10,000 mummies.
