Grandcamp-Maisy, FRANCE: Three American veterans, Jim Gabaree (L, Massachusetts), Jack Burke (C, Virginia) and Daniel Farley (R, Louisiane) who took part in the liberation of Paris 09 June 1944, wave in front of tablets after their inauguration, 02 April 2007, between Omaha beach and Utah beach, in Grand Camp-Maisy, northern France. Britton Gary Stern, who discovered in 2005 a German WWII post in Normandy and bought back the site from various owners and dug out the wartime constructions, will partially open the bunkers to the public as of 04 April 2007.
