In a week packed with work - and working out - meals are almost an interruption.It's a trend that's feeding the gourmet takeaways which specialise in freshly cooked food, as opposed to something plucked from the deep fryer. Singles and working couples can account for up to 80 per cent of a good takeaway's business, with some couples ordering two or three times a week - especially in the too-tired-to-cook zone of Monday to Friday.
