UNITED KINGDOM - MAY 23: Edward John Bevan (1856-1921), co-inventor of the viscose rayon process. Bevan patented the viscose process of rayon manufacture with Charles Frederick Cross (1855-1935) in 1892. The process uses cellulose (wood-pulp) which is dissolved and then regenerated.
