(Original Caption) 7/10/1989- Denver, CO- Russian fencer Alexander Romankov (L), considered to be the world's best fencer, avoids the attack of Alexander Koch of West Germany during the finals of the men's team foil event at the World Fencing Championships in Denver, 7/10. The Russian team recieved the gold medal in the event with the West Germans collecting the silver. BPA2#4786.
