The U.S. space agency announced January 23rd that February 21st will be the launch date which opens the manned phase of America's lunar landing venture. The nation's first three man astronaut team will be hurled aloft by a powerful Saturn I rocket to give the Apollo moonship a shakedown flight lasting up to 14 days.
