MADURAI, INDIA: An Indian participant runs and tries to catch a bull during a bull taming festival in the village of Palamedu some 500 km southwest of Madras 15 January 2005. In the annual traditional festival, part of the south Indian harvest festival of Pongal, participants have to catch a bull and run with it around 50 meters in order to succeed and win prizes.
