(Original Caption) Ali Meets a Giant. New York: When World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Muahmmad Ali was in New York, March 25th, 1976 to meet Japanese wrestler Antonio Inoki, whom he will meet in a boxer versus wrestler match in Tokyo, June 26th, someone caught his eye --- it was seven-foot-four Andre, the Giant, a wrestler from France and friend of Inoki. The towering Asdre became the object of Ali's attention after he was through trading barbs with Inoki. Ali, so taken in by the man who made him look diminutive by comparison, literally bowed to Andre and then matched his hand against Andre's massive palm. All later placed "The Giant's" fist on his jaw -- glad he won't have to face such a blow.
