Doctors operating in military camp operating room
10 June 2007. British Army surgeon Major Andy Bruce prepares to perform surgery on Afghan civilian Mahib Ullah to remove shrapnel from his legs, in the operating theatre at the British Army Field Hospital at Camp Bastion, located in the desert in Helmand Province, Southern Afghanistan. Mahib was allegedly injured after the roof his house collapsed on him, following a mistaken ISAF Coalition Forces bombing on his village during the fighting between ISAF and the Taliban, according to his relatives and the British military medical personnel from the UK Med Group.
