Claims of a systematic campaign of genocide against Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.

VOICED: Claims of a systematic campaign of genocide against Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar. A report by Yale University says there's strong evidence that large numbers of the minority group are being deliberately persecuted by the country's government, with many killed. There are more than a million Rohingyas, living mainly in Myanmar's northwestern Rakhine state. There's evidence that they've been in the region for at least six hundred years. But the past century's seen widespread inter-communal violence, and the Rohingyas have been left stateless after the government took away their citizenship in 1982. Myanmar's forces have also been accused of orchestrating a series of race riots in 2012 which led to 140 thousand Rohingyas being relocated to ghetto-like camps. Sky's Asia Correspondent Katie Stallard reports from one of them, in Sittwe. on October 29, 2015 in Sittwe, Myanmar.
