Pasa Limani, Uskudar, Istanbul - stock photo

Just past Üsküdar the coastline is called Paşalimanı. Liman means "port" in Turkish, from Greek limàni, and boats would moor here. A large stone building on the shore, built as a tobacco warehouse by late-Ottoman architect Vedat Tek, has been completely renovated. There is a small area of parkland right on the shore.
