Melbourne, Australia - February 1, 2016: An UP Metro Flinders Street train on the Glen Waverley line stops at the new low-level Gardiner railway station in the Melbourne suburb of Glen Iris. The modern, accessible station along with a new tram “Super Stop”, was built under the road as part of the Burke Road Level Crossing Removal Project, the first of 50 level (grade) crossings to be removed by the Victorian Government. The station has lowered platforms accessed via lifts and stairs and clear information displays providing information about both tram and train timetables.
