Shakespeare's Original Theatre Believed To Be Unearthed

LONDON, ENGLAND - MARCH 09: A piece of 16th century pottery found at the site of what is thought to be London's first purpose built playhouse is displayed on March 9, 2009 in Shoreditch, London. The location of this first purpose built playhouse, called The Theatre, constructed in 1576 by James Burbage, has been confirmed by Museum of London Archaeology following investigation of the site - a disused warehouse, in Shoreditch east London.
